It’s a masterful modern jazz affair too, with ‘The Master Wore a White Robe’ giving us just a taster into what the album has to offer. It offers a unique blend of Middle Eastern melodies, sophisticated structures, and beautifully crafted solos played by some of the promising talents on the scene.
Yoni and his band have had some serious gigs recently too, playing the likes of the legendary Ronnie Scott’s, The Jazz Cafe and the Tel Aviv Jazz Festival, they were also featured on the South London project SW2 led by UK Garage producer EL-B alongside Joe Armon Jones and Moses Boyd.
